xAI is currently working on a series of new enhancements for its intelligent assistant “Grok,” which include upgraded model versions and innovative features aimed at improving the user experience.

The Grok 3.5 version is set to be released soon, described by Elon Musk as the “most significant leap” in the model’s ability to understand queries and execute tasks.

Regarding new features, the company is working on integrating camera vision functionality into the mobile application.

Users will soon be able to share images directly with “Grok” during voice conversations, similar to what competing tools like “ChatGPT” and “Gemini” offer.

Although a specific date hasn’t been announced, internal reports confirm the feature is technically ready.

Relatedly, the Grok.com website is expected to gain a cumulative memory feature, allowing the model to remember previous conversations and reference them in responses.

This is similar to the reference memory feature in ChatGPT, recently announced by OpenAI.

The service is also currently being integrated with Google Drive to allow users easy access to their stored files.

The updates don’t stop there.

Development teams are currently working on designing a tool for editing images via text commands, which will allow for modifying artistic styles or adding new elements using artificial intelligence.

Conversely, collaborative “Workspaces” are still in the final stages of development, with the current focus on improving the user interface.

These steps show a noticeable acceleration in “Grok’s” development to keep pace with competitors, at a time when the artificial intelligence market is undergoing rapid shifts.

With all these features, it seems users are in for a richer experience in the coming months.
