The collaboration aims to develop a new generation of artificial intelligence tools that are built on an “artist-first” principle.

This collaboration comes as a direct response to growing concerns within the artistic community about the unauthorized use of their work to train generative AI models. In its official announcement, Spotify took a firm stance, stating, “Musicians’ rights matter.
