Powerful Video Editing with a Single Tap

Anyone can now choose from a collection of over fifty preset styles to apply edits to videos up to ten seconds long.

Available options range from altering outfits and locations to changing lighting and the overall visual mood of the clip.

For instance, you could give a video a classic comic book aesthetic, shift a bright daylight scene to look like it was filmed on an overcast day, or even transform someone’s clothing into an astronaut’s suit.

The platforms also provide an option to share the edited clips directly to Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, there is a sharing feature for the “Discover” section within the Meta AI app and its website.

Meta explained that the new features were inspired by its “Movie Gen” AI models.

Looking ahead, the company plans to introduce more customization options later this year.

A future update will allow users to edit videos using their own custom text prompts, moving beyond the current selection of pre-set styles.

Empowering Everyone to Create Engaging Videos

According to the company, these tools are designed to empower anyone to experiment creatively and produce fun, engaging videos to share with friends, family, or followers.

Meta added that it worked closely with content creators to identify styles and effects that would resonate most effectively with their audiences.

By integrating this new capability into the Edits app, the company hopes it will become an essential part of the creative workflow for creators.
